Common questions.

What are credits and what do they pay for?
Credits account for prepaid usage under the tariff supplied before use. Actual consumption can include unsuccessful or incomplete tasks. The tariff explains computation, tools and retry rules; usage history records actual consumption.
Do I need a credit card to try Octodus?
No. The $15 in free credits is granted on your first message and works on the same Telegram bot you’ll use forever. You add billing only when you decide to keep using it.
Why one paid tier?
We tried four. They were honestly a tax on understanding the product. Octodus is one teammate, priced like one teammate. When the company really needs custom infra — SSO, data residency, an SLA — that’s Enterprise.
How does the Team plan work for solo founders?
Buy a credit pack. Buying credits does not itself create a subscription or authorise automatic payments. The bot can work in a private DM or a group chat.
Do my credits expire?
Unused paid credits do not expire. Bonus conditions are disclosed when granted and cannot be worsened retrospectively. Paid and bonus balances are accounted for separately.
What happens when credits run out?
New chargeable work may pause when the balance is exhausted. Buying credits does not authorise automatic payments or provide unlimited credit.
Does Octodus train on my data?
No. Every team gets its own isolated memory. We never feed your messages back into model training, and you can wipe memory at any time from the chat itself.
Which languages does it speak?
The product supports multiple languages. Interface language does not select the Provider. The Provider, currency, total price, tax treatment and payment details are disclosed before payment.
Can I cancel any time?
You may stop further use and request a refund of unused paid credits at their acquisition price, accounting for actual usage and previous refunds. No separate balance-refund fee applies. Bonuses are not refundable in cash, and mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected. See the Terms for details.
